John Hopkinson has been a chartered surveyor practising in the Midlands region for over 35 years and has dealt with most aspects of agricultural valuations ranging from livestock to tax planning.

John is also a member of the Lord Chancellor’s panel of Agricultural Arbitrators, with over twenty years experience of acting between parties in disputes.

In addition, in the changing world requiring careful tax planning, he has advised on the future structure of many family farms and estates.

Valuations including everything from stock taking valuations to Inheritance Tax planning have been undertaken together with supportive reports for planning applications etc.

Sales of agricultural property from single fields to large farms are regularly undertaken and in the bouyant market for agriculturally related residential properties, the team have three decades of marketing experience.
